howcase featured masters’ research from maun Ricardo Manuel Chao Barreto Martins who studied his master of Engineering Science in Civil Structures at https://www.swinburne.edu.au/ Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. His research was presented on 26 April 2022, at Timor Plaza.
Mr. Ricardo Martins’ research study aims to assess the seismic performance of a typical building and compare with various state-of-the-art methods to determine the adequacy of commonly adopted seismic design methods in Timor-Leste.
Alumni showcases are designed to inform the development of Timor-Leste through the presentation and discussion of research completed whilst studying in Australia. The research is presented to an invited audience of decision makers, academics, NGOs, private sector contacts and public servants.
