Timor-Leste Australia Alumni Association (TL3A)

The Timor-Leste Australia Alumni Association (TL3A) was established in August 2017 with formal ratification in October 2019.  The TL3A Board is supported by Alumni Secretariat Co-ordinator (ASC) – Octaviana Faria.

The current board was elected at a well attended Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 29th January 2022.

The vision of the Board is to encourage alumni to actively participate in the Australia Awards community, to attend events, to volunteer and to create new ways for alumni to stay connected and contribute to the development of Timor-Leste.

Australia Awards Global Alumni Network

On graduating, all Australia Awards Scholars also automatically become members of the global alumni network. This network provides a mechanism for Australia Awards alumni to build and maintain supportive relationships with other alumni through professional and social links.

Alumni Achievements

There are over 350 Australia Awards Alumni in Timor-Leste who are using the skills and knowledge from a range of top class Australian Universities to support their countries development. Alumni Activities

Alumni contribute to the development of Timor-Leste individually and by taking part in the Timor-Leste Australia Alumni Association (TL3A) sectoral groups. The video below tells us briefly about TL3A’s activities and how alumni are giving back to their beloved country, Timor-Leste.
